There are few places in the world that capture the soul quite like Italy, and our recent Explore Tuscany 2026 journey was nothing short of absolute magic. From the very moment we took off from Tallahassee, the excitement was palpable, but nothing could quite prepare us for the beauty that awaited when we arrived at our incredible home base in the historic spa town of Montecatini Terme.

We truly lived la dolce vita for nine unforgettable days. Together, we wandered the medieval, fortified walls of Lucca and stood in absolute awe beneath the towering Duomo in Florence. We laughed, took iconic photos by the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and stepped back in time along the brick-paved streets of Siena. But what made this trip so uniquely spectacular were the intimate, off-the-beaten-path moments. We spent sun-drenched afternoons at family-owned wineries swirling rich Chianti, learned secrets of Tuscan cuisine during a hands-on culinary masterclass, and sampled fresh, artisanal pecorino right on a local cheese farm outside San Gimignano.

We shared so many incredible meals, endless glasses of wine, and unforgettable laughs. Watching our wonderful group connect and experience the warmth of Italian hospitality together was the ultimate highlight for me.
