Cowboy Country

There is an undeniable magic to the open plains and towering peaks of the American West, and our recent Cowboy Country 2026 expedition was a spectacular reminder of why we travel. From the moment our group took off from Tallahassee, we knew we were in for a ruggedly beautiful adventure, but actually standing face-to-face with the wild, untamed spirit of the frontier was something none of us will ever forget.

Our eight-day journey was packed with jaw-dropping, monumental milestones. We walked through the historic, gold-rush streets of Deadwood—a town practically built on gold and gunpowder—and stood in absolute awe beneath the colossal stone carvings of Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial in the Black Hills of South Dakota. We went tracking through the rugged terrain of Custer State Park, holding our breath as we spotted massive, free-ranging herds of majestic buffalo roaming just outside our coach windows.

As we crossed into Wyoming, the landscapes grew even more legendary. We marveled at the bubbling geothermal wonders and watched Old Faithful erupt right on cue in Yellowstone National Park, followed by a truly breathtaking drive past the jagged, glacier-carved peaks of Grand Teton National Park. Ending our journey wrapped in the rustic, alpine hospitality of Jackson Hole was the perfect way to cap off the ultimate frontier getaway.

Beyond the epic national parks and stunning wildlife, the real joy of this trip was watching our amazing community of travelers bond over cowboy stories, shared meals, and continuous laughs along the trail.
